Chesterton High School will host a Drug Prevention and Outreach Program on Thursday, March 9 from 7-9 p.m. in the CHS Auditorium featuring a short presentation by key panel members addressing substance abuse followed by a question and answer session. The program is free and open to the community. Please use Entrance #31.

This panel group has been organized to discuss the growing concerns about experimental/regular use of tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs. Believe it or not experimentation with drugs and possibly addiction begins at the middle school level. In fact, the latest research suggests that experimentation of drugs is beginning to even reach pre-teens. The problem is not going away. In fact, the problem is getting worse. Something has to be done.
