Students, when leaving for an appointment during the day, please bring your note from home into the attendance office before school starts.  This will make it easier to locate a student in a timely manner.  Also, if you have a work permit that you need, bring in your forms already filled out to the attendance office before school.

 

Students we do not deliver anything to classes - If you are expecting something please stop by the main office and see if your parent dropped it off for you.

 

Reminder – Student Drop off and Pick up – Arrivals & Dismissal is on the North side by entrances 31 & 34.  No pick-up / Drop off by Entrance 1.

 

Reminder if you are parking in the back parking lot on Tuesdays or Thursdays – your vehicle MUST be moved by 3:00pm.

 

Cadet teachers:  you should not be in the hallways until 10:50!  If you arrive at CHS earlier, you MUST wait in the cafeteria.

 

Cadet Teachers, when you return to school, you MUST ENTER THE BUILDING THROUGH ENTRANCE 1!!  You may not enter through entrance 31 or 34.  NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

 

There is NO STUDENT PARKING in the lot in front of the building..  This includes ALL STUDENTS, cadet teachers , vocational, alternative, etc.

Rebuilding Together – It’s that time of the year - Rebuilding Together is looking for volunteers for the upcoming work day of April 29th. Sign up at rtduneland.org by APRIL 7TH. Hope to see EVERYONE there.

 

Attention Trail Bound....your March deposit is now due to Mr. DeRuntz

 

The CHS Sandpipers are Nationals bound and need your help!   TONIGHT March 23rd they will be hosting a movie night in the CHS Auditorium. Double Feature - Mona at 5pm and Ferris Bueller’s Day off at 7pm. 

$5.00 for single feature and $7.00 for double feature. Ticket can be purchased at the door.

 

Pride Club members: pick up your rainbow bracelets to share and wear. If you have time before or after school, come to Mrs. Demuth's room to make more. We encourage friends to wear them on FRIDAY, MARCH 24, and post photos of many hands in a circle of friendship.

 

If you are a senior and interested in auditioning to sing the National Anthem or speak at graduation, sign up in the Main Office until MARCH 24TH.

Do you have a story burning in your heart? Come to the library to record your true story for the CHS Storycorp project to possibly be broadcast on WDSO. The recording booth is in the back of the Library Media Center. The CHS Storycorp project recording room will be available until April 14th.

Students, when leaving for an appointment during the day, please bring your note from home into the attendance office before school starts.  This will make it easier to locate a student in a timely manner.  Also, if you have a work permit that you need, bring in your forms already filled out to the attendance office before school.

 

Students we do not deliver anything to classes - If you are expecting something please stop by the main office and see if your parent dropped it off for you.

 

Reminder – Student Drop off and Pick up – Arrivals & Dismissal is on the North side by entrances 31 & 34.  No pick-up / Drop off by Entrance 1.

 

Reminder if you are parking in the back parking lot on Tuesdays or Thursdays – your vehicle MUST be moved by 3:00pm.

 

Cadet teachers:  you should not be in the hallways until 10:50!  If you arrive at CHS earlier, you MUST wait in the cafeteria.

 

Cadet Teachers, when you return to school, you MUST ENTER THE BUILDING THROUGH ENTRANCE 1!!  You may not enter through entrance 31 or 34.  NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

 

There is NO STUDENT PARKING in the lot in front of the building..  This includes ALL STUDENTS, cadet teachers , vocational, alternative, etc.

 

Student Drivers:  Please be sure your parking permit faces the windshield and that nothing is hanging in front of it.  The tag, including the number, should be easily read. Students that park in the Back lot, SILVER parking permits, must park past the painted red line.  Thank you.

Mitchell Winey and Katheryn Pokorny Scholarship applications are available in the College and Career Center.  

Pokorny Scholarship applications are due FRIDAY, MARCH 17

Would you like some help completing assignments and projects before the end of the quarter?  Would you like a place to work on your homework in case you have a few questions?  Let the tutor lab help.  Passes are available in room A525.

 

Weather is getting warmer and its Kona Ice time…. Kona will be back again MARCH 21st for all LUNCHES.

CHS is bringing back colored flavored ice !!!   lets have a great turn out so we can keep the colored ice flavoring

 

The March WDSO All-Member Meeting will be held on TODAY, MARCH 8 at 3:00 pm in the Radio/TV classroom A-513.  Come learn about Radiothon and High School Radio Day.  New members are welcome.  If you can't come, see Mr. Waters or Ms. Stipanovich.

 

There will be a brief meeting for any girl interested in Girls tennis on THURSDAY, MARCH 9 right after school in the cafeteria until 3:00 pm.

 

Art club will meet THURSDAY MARCH 9TH in Room D216. All are welcome

The 26th Annual Duneland Exchange Club Talent Showcase will be held on SATURDAY APRIL 8 in the CHS Auditorium.  Audition forms are available in the main office and must be returned no later than FRIDAY MARCH 17
